Green Initiative Project

Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation commissioned Mission Million Trees. CSR is based on the saying, "He who plants a tree plants hope". With Growtrees.com, the Green Initiative Project planted over 1 lakh trees across Gujarat & Madhya Pradesh. Landmark employees have planted more trees to promote vegetation growth. This improves soil quality, water retention, and carbon dioxide absorption. Thus, air pollution and quality have been improved while plant species have also increased. These efforts have also provided employment and economic opportunities for local communities.

Rotary Skills Development Centre

As our PM stated, "Skill Development is the backbone of Atmanirbhar Bharat". The Group Landmark collaborated with Rotary Southend and Rotary Skill Development Centre to support the Skill India Mission. It aims to impart skills to naive and frivolous youth. Training has prepared them for the following industries.

TIG / MIG Welding Operators - for the Auto-parts Industry.

CNC Machine operators - for the Auto/manufacturing industry.

Automated Tailoring /sewing - for Garment exporters.

F&B Steward - for hotels/restaurants.

The goal was to provide them with employment. As a result of the jobs, they will have access to minimum wages, statutory benefits, gratuities, bonuses, and more. We have touched 3000 to 4000 lives with this program.

Mehsana Stepwell Rejuvenation

  • Known as Boter Kothani Vav, Mehsana stepwell dates back 200 years. For hundreds of years, stepwells have supported ecosystems and helped. Unfortunately, this architectural landmark is in ruins, filled with plastic, metal and other junk. As the epitome of our rich history and culture, it deserves restoration. So, Group Landmark and Drishti Foundation Trust launched a Cleanliness Drive and cleared the stepwell's surrounding areas. A lot of person-hours were spent cleaning the litter and rejuvenating Mehsana.

Sujalam Sufalam Abhiyan- Catch The Rain Campaign

  • Catch the Rain was launched in conjunction with PM Modi's National Water Conservation Mission. Participants joined in and took various measures to save water all over the country. For example, dams were checked, rainwater harvesting pits dug, rooftop rainwater harvesting structures built, etc.
  • Ponds were created to conserve rainwater during the monsoon season. The scheme also spruced up irrigation canals by cleaning and desilting riverfronts. At the same time, employment opportunities were created in rural areas. Ponds retain water for 8-10 months, increasing crop density and diversification across seasons. Groundwater is recharged by rainwater. SSAB 2022 has the potential to transform rural livelihoods, contribute to agricultural intensification, increase farmer income, protect biodiversity, form soil, and reduce floods.
  • Together with the Drishti Foundation, we have achieved our pledged targets.

A Two-Decade-Long Journey

  • Group Landmark launched a Landmark 2 Landmark campaign in association with Autocar India. Mercedes Benz, Honda, Jeep, VW, and Renault cars drove from Delhi to Hikkim, the last inhabited village and back. Helping & supporting people in need was the purpose of driving across cities.
  • In 1998, Group Landmark began this incredible journey. From one landmark to another, we've always grown. Driving the interstate is about discovering values across geographies & lifestyles and giving back. From Delhi, we drove to Theog, Shimla, and the highest petrol station in the Spiti Valley. The team also visited the world's highest post office, Hikkim and Komic, the world's highest-inhabited village.
  • During the tour, the Group Landmark team distributed books and notebooks to the students, solar lamps to the villagers, and daily necessities to the villagers. Every mile was worth it despite the challenges. It has been rewarding to watch children's gleaming eyes and villagers' smiling faces and behold the enticing beauty of incredible India.
